Last year was again a difficult time for everyone. The pandemic still causing problems for all. A very special thank you to all those Churches that managed – somehow – to take part last year. A great deal of effort was needed and made by all – thank you again.
The Ride & Stride event raised over £19,000. Brilliant effort by all – well done! The monies returned to the various Churches amounted to over £ 9,000. Again well done.
It was and still is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the publicity and open your church and for your church members to visit others churches to see how they interact with the community.
The format is very flexible, churches and participants are free to decide for themselves how they organise the day.
Remember that all the money collected on the day half is returned to a Church of your choosing and is a huge help towards upkeep of the historic Churches in our area.
Notts Historic Churches Trust rely on days like these to boost their funds to enable grant offers to help Churches with their repair costs. Your help to keep this going is essential.
